Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
PayAlert is a payment reminder app provided by Money Bond. This policy explains how the app handles information. The optional usage analytics controls described below apply to the native iOS version 5.0 and later; earlier versions may have different settings.
Payment records stay on your device
Bill names, amounts, due dates, interest rates, payment history, currency preferences and reminder settings are stored locally. PayAlert does not upload these records to Firebase, AdMob or a Money Bond server. No bank account connection is required. The Home Screen widget reads a local copy shared with the app. Device backups managed by Apple may contain app data, depending on your settings.
Reminders are scheduled locally through iOS. Notification previews may show a bill name and amount on your Lock Screen. You can control previews, sounds and notification permission in iOS Settings. Face ID or Touch ID, where enabled, uses Apple's device authentication; PayAlert does not receive biometric templates.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free app uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address (including an approximate location derived from it), app or device identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. These support advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and SDK operation. PayAlert does not request precise location access or send your payment records as ad targeting data.
Google's User Messaging Platform presents regional advertising privacy choices where required. You can reopen available choices from Settings → About → Privacy Choices. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized or limited. Rejecting optional advertising consent does not remove access to reminders. Ad-related processing is separate from the optional usage analytics choice below.
PayAlert Pro removes banner and full-screen ads. Consent information may still be refreshed so existing privacy choices remain accessible. Apple controls access to its advertising identifier; this native version does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or enable cross-app tracking.
Read Google's policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Optional usage analytics
Native iOS version 5.0 and later offers an optional setting to share usage analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase. Collection is off by default. There is no separate analytics consent pop-up on first launch. After you create your first reminder, a later app visit may show a one-time invitation to share usage data. Collection stays off unless you choose to share. Choosing Not Now or dismissing the invitation leaves collection off and the invitation is not repeated. You can enable or disable it at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share usage analytics. Leaving it off does not limit app features.
When enabled, analytics can include app launches, session duration and engagement, app and operating-system versions, language and device characteristics, an app-instance identifier, approximate regional information, reminder-creation events, app-screen and Pro-screen visits, purchase attempts and outcomes, and purchase or ad interactions. We use this to understand reliability, usage and monetization. We do not add your bill names, balances, dates, payment records or contact details to analytics events. We do not use this analytics consent to enable advertising personalization or share analytics data for advertising purposes.
Turning the setting off stops optional analytics collection and resets the analytics data and identifier stored by the SDK on this device. It does not automatically erase data already received by Google. That data remains subject to the service's retention and deletion controls. See Google Analytics data privacy and security.
Purchases and support
Apple processes the one-time Pro purchase. PayAlert reads verified transaction and entitlement information to unlock or restore Pro. We do not receive your card or payment account details. Apple handles transaction records and refunds under its own Privacy Policy.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond and resolve your request. A CSV export stays local until you choose a destination in the share sheet. The destination's privacy practices then apply. Avoid sending unnecessary financial information in support messages.
Retention, deletion and your rights
Local reminders remain until you delete them or remove the app. You can export records and use the app's data deletion controls. Removing the app may not remove copies in device backups, exports or files you have shared; manage those through the relevant service. An App Store purchase is associated with your Apple Account and is not cancelled by deleting the app.
Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations. Google and Apple may process service data outside your country, under their applicable safeguards and retention policies. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. We cannot retrieve local payment records that you have not shared with us.
We do not sell your payment records. Advertising partners' processing may be considered a sale, sharing or targeted advertising under some US state laws; available advertising privacy controls let you communicate your choice. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
Children and security
PayAlert is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. The app uses iOS storage and system protections, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Policy changes and contact
We update this page when practices change and identify the update date above. Where a new consent is needed, we will request it in the app; merely using the app does not opt you into optional analytics.
